Characters
From Good v. Evil Encyclopedia
The first step to playing in GvE is to create a character. Your character is your alter-ego during play, whose actions and reactions you control. Unlike the Dungeons and Dragons or Chivalry and Sorcery systems on which GvE is based, however, there are no "jobs" or "careers" or "character classes." You can pick and choose the advantages, disadvantages, and skills that your character possess to build him or her as you see fit.
In GvE, you get a certain number of points with which to create your character, after writing a biography. Your character's biography tells the back-story of your character before your team meets him or her. What happened to the character growing up that caused him or her to become an adventurer?
